Ronald W. Kloss Beloved husband of Frances A. Kloss nee Handrock. Loving father of Keith Kloss, Kim Kloss and Ron Kloss. Cherished grandfather of Kayelynn and Leah Kloss; Scout, Satchel and Stiles Kloss. Devoted brother of Kenneth (Jan) Kloss. Many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Served our country in the US Army during the Korean War as a specialist using his talents as a radio announcer.
He graduated Wright Junior College in 1953 and then attended the University of Illinois
He was a news writer for WGN Radio and then was a representative for Aid Association for Lutherans (Thrivent) at St. Peter Lutheran Church in Arlington Heights
He served on the Radio Ministry at St. Peter, where he was a long time member
He and Frances then joined St. Paul Lutheran Church in Mt. Prospect in the early 2000’s. They were avid campers, “snowbirding” in Florida. He and Frances were members of the Square Wheels Dance Club and enjoyed square dancing and round dancing both here and in Florida. He was also a lover of classical music and was a patron of Ravinia.
Visitation Thursday 3:00 – 9:00 PM at Friedrichs Funeral Home, 320 W. Central Rd., at Northwest Hwy., Mt. Prospect. Visitation will continue on Friday from 10:00 AM until Services 11:00 AM at St. Paul Lutheran Church, 100 S. School St., Mt. Prospect. Interment Ridgewood Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorials to his Church are appreciated.
